Today I finally went wireless! It is truly a fascinating time to be living. And, I didn't have to buy a new laptop to accomplish it! The old one is working quite nicely!! The internet technician at Linksys was a very valable asset--he walked me through every step. I highly recomment their tech support if you have router problems and own a Linksys. That's all for today. I sure hope everything continue to work correctly.

LOVE & HATE
My recent trip to India reminded me very much of my travels in Brazil and South/Central America. I wish I had remembered to communicate with PC volunteers in India before I went. Well, maybe next time. Any suggestions for my trip to Egypt?? Muito obrigada!! sapodedo
FORTY-TWO YEARS AGO
Forty-two years this month and I am still reminescing my Peace Corps experience! However, my PC roommate and I were able to visit in 2000 for three weeks to refresh our language as well as some of our memories--the better ones, of course! It too was an amazing experience! As the volunteer coordinator of my group, Bra IV, I am in contact with "the group" two or three times a year. We had a reunion on my farm in Southern Illinois in 1996 and 13 of the surviving 19 were able to attend, as well as a phone call from one, and a letter from our Director. At the reunion many felt as if we had not been separated for many years. It was truly an amazing experience. And, naturally, not one of us appeared a day older! Brasil is no longer part of the PC program. However, I would enjoy hearing from any other "old timers" out there, or anyone with a genuine interest in PC, Alaska, fiber arts, etc.
